STRATEGIC EVANGELISM
A key lesson from classical rhetoric is that influence is based on the audiences' disposition. In this case, the next generation operates in a "been-there-done-that" world when it comes to the church. The ironic situation we're in is that never have the coming generations been more put-out and disconnected from the institutional church, while at the same time more open spiritually.
Strategic evangelism is capable of bridging this gap in a manner that is appreciated and influential. This is what VU VI VO is so capable of achieving in our time. If we are trying to reach those who are not being reached by the church, then we have to do things that are not being done currently by the church.
